Meet Erin
As a Certified Therapeutic Game Master with a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology, I combine my passion for storytelling, tabletop roleplaying games, and the science of human flourishing to create meaningful experiences that inspire connection, creativity, and personal growth.
My own journey has been shaped by navigating a learning difference and hearing impairment, experiences that deepened my appreciation for belonging, understanding, and the importance of finding a place where you can truly be yourself. Through storytelling and roleplaying games, I discovered the power of imagination to build confidence, explore possibilities, and connect with others.
My academic background in developmental psychology, human growth, and contemplative psychology further shaped my approach. My undergraduate thesis explored loneliness and social disconnection, themes that continue to influence my work and my belief in the importance of meaningful relationships.
Today, through D20s & Destiny, I bring together my professional experience and love of tabletop gaming to create welcoming adventures for teens, young adults, and adults alike. Whether through recreational gaming or social-emotional learning experiences, my goal is to help participants build connections, develop confidence, and discover their strengths through collaborative storytelling.
Because sometimes, the greatest adventures aren't about defeating dragons or discovering hidden treasures. They're about finding connection, building confidence, and realizing that everyone deserves a place at the table.
